Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

EZ Divorce Alabama provides document preparation services for uncontested divorces in the state of Alabama. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Our services are limited to preparing and reviewing legal documents based on information you provide.

Please note that the initial attorney service fee covers document preparation and review only, not court filing. Filing is a separate service with separate fees that are billed only after document completion and approval.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you are not receiving legal representation or legal advice. We recommend consulting with an attorney if you have questions about your legal rights or the divorce process.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Our services are available only for uncontested divorces where both parties agree on all terms, including:

  • Division of all marital assets and debts
  • Spousal support (alimony) arrangements
  • Child custody, visitation, and support (if applicable)

At least one spouse must have been a resident of Alabama for six months or more prior to filing.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full before document preparation begins. All payments are processed securely through LawPay. We accept major credit cards and electronic payments.

Pricing is as follows:

  • Uncontested Divorce without Minor Children: $400
  • Uncontested Divorce with Minor Children: $500

These initial fees are for attorney services and document preparation only. Court filing fees are billed separately and will be invoiced after your documents are completed and approved. Documents will not be filed until the separate filing fee is paid.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund if we determine you are not eligible for our uncontested divorce services after reviewing your intake form and before document preparation begins.

Once document preparation has commenced, no refunds will be issued for attorney service fees. Please review our separate Refund Policy for complete details.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Reviewing and approving all documents carefully before signing
  • Paying the separate court filing fee invoice to initiate the filing of your documents
