Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refunds

We are committed to providing quality document preparation services. Refunds for the initial attorney service fee are available under the following circumstances:

• You are determined to be ineligible for uncontested divorce services after we review your intake form
• We are unable to provide the services you purchased due to circumstances within our control

Refund requests must be made before document preparation begins.

2. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following situations:

• After document preparation has commenced
• If you change your mind about proceeding with the divorce
• If your spouse does not cooperate or changes their mind
• If the court rejects documents due to incomplete or inaccurate information you provided
• If you fail to complete required forms or provide necessary information
• For delays in court processing beyond our control
• If you decide to hire another attorney after services have commenced

3. Refund Process

To request a refund:

• Contact us at info@ezdivorceal.com with your refund request
• Provide your order number and reason for the refund request
• We will review your request within 3-5 business days
• If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days

4. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds. Our initial attorney services are priced as complete packages, and refunds (when applicable) are issued in full for the service purchased.

5. Court Filing Fees

Our initial service fees do not include court filing fees or other third-party costs. Court filing fees are distinct charges that will be billed as a separate invoice after your documents are completed and approved by you.

Documents are only filed after this separate fee is paid. Once the filing fee is paid and documents are submitted to the court, the filing fees are strictly non-refundable by EZ Divorce Alabama.

6. Service Modifications

If you need to modify your service (for example, changing from "No Minor Children" to "With Minor Children"), please contact us immediately. Modifications may be possible before document preparation begins, subject to payment of any price difference.

Once document preparation has started, service modifications may not be possible, and no refunds will be issued.

7. Disputes

If you have concerns about our services or believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us first at info@ezdivorceal.com. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your purchase of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
